Here are some of the main sites of the furry fandom.
FurAffinity: The largest furry community site on the web. Primarily an art/content centric site, sort of like a furry-only DeviantArt.

FurNation: One of the longest running furry sites on the web, which originally focused on Second Life but became a social hub of its own, focusing mainly on providing a "home base" for many furries, linking up as a hub for many other sites. As of December 8th, 2009, FurNation is offline permanently or until further notice.
VCL: Another one of the oldest furry websites, VCL is a massive art archive. It serves as a minimalist, straightforward, but reliable and content-packed art archive.

e621: A large furry image/media board, where users post content hosted on other sites. This is generally done respectfully, and takedown requests by original creators are generally honored. Good for browsing

ArtSpots: A non-adult furry art site, aimed at serious artists. They are known for their tough acceptance procedure on submitted works. If you want high quality, non-adult furry art that is easy to browse, this is a great site.

fchan: One of the older furry imageboards. Mainly adult oriented, users, mostly anonymously, share and discuss their favorite images.

Furry 4 Life: Also known as F4L, Furry 4 Life is a furry social networking site which is G-rated. One of the more popular furry social networks.

MyFursona: Another popular furry social netoworking site, MyFursona is still in relatively working stages. Designed as a hub for furries to coordinate across multiple websites.

Furocity: A relatively new but relatively large site. Originally focused on roleplaying it now hosts a slick section for user uploaded stories, art, etc. One of the better designed and run furry sites out there, and one of the main destinations for FurNation refugees.
